You're right. There is no god. Santorum went down because the good working class people of Pennsylvania saw through his crap-sack eventually and organized to get him the hell out of there. He was defeated by some of the most stunning grassroots organizing I've ever emptied my pockets to support (I'm 3,000 miles away from my home turf there).
As for KH, well, this picture says it all.
There is a wonderful Philly blog called attytood.org, and they showed this photo the morning after the election with the simple caption:
