In my opinion, the requesting of read receipts in Microsoft Outlook, is the ultimate in workplace passive aggressive behavior. To the person who sends me 5 or 6 each day, I would like to say, please take your read receipts and stick them up your ass.

Even worse are the in-person read receipt requests. "Hey, did you get my email?"
